Brick Wall Lounge
When you have a very open floor plan it can be a challenge to carve out different spaces throughout the room. This area is completely open to our kitchen, dining and family room! Plus it is the largest wall space on the main floor. We capitalized on the location and made what was previously an awkward space into a lounge. It's a natural spot to sit and chat with those in the adjoining rooms. In 2017, we added thin brick to the wall to mimic the solid brick wall in our basement and create continuity within our home.
