Freestyle Friday

Plaid pillow | Small pillow | Area rug (smaller size) | Cowhide rug | Mirror is vintage

We’ve made it to the weekend! Time off! Oh that is right, I’m a stay-at-home Mom who has plans to shiplap my basement ceiling with my husband this weekend. Never mind,

This is the room we are shiplapping. Joking aside. I’m actually really excited to start this project, but I’m not sure we have a clue what we are doing. This is going to be a trial-and-error style project.  I’ll be posting Instagram stories of our progress this weekend. Follow me here so you don’t miss any of the shenanigans.

It’s technically not fall yet, but at our home it’s happy fall y’all. I’ve already started switching out our decor. I started by making some changes to the pillow situation on the couch. You can see a peak above. See the old arrangement here

The cute plaid pillow is from McGee & Co. Shea and Syd of Studio McGee are pretty much my home style icons.

The bohemian pillow is from The Vintage Rug Shop. I have purchased almost all our vintage rugs from this store. For example, this one and this one.  Call me obsessed!

I made a quick trip to Eco Chic Boutique and Target last weekend and threw together a table display. The tray is from Joanna Gaines’ furniture line Magnolia Home.

You can pick up the cute Target pumpkin here. I also picked up this gold vase on sale for the display.

We’ve had a pretty crazy, busy week!

To recap – I used the table display to style a gorgeous patio by BOYLE Landscape Architects on Monday. You may also recognize some of our home’s other decor thrown into the mix.

Get a preview of how we styled the table here. The crew for BOYLE Landscape Architects put this gorgeous table together in ONE day! How amazing is that!

We are finally making major headway in the basement and Daren’s repping Tronsgard & Sullivan at a dental conference.

I also modeled in a fashion show for our local Dress for Success organization Thursday! I was completely obsessed with how my hair was styled. See it on my personal Instagram here. Dress for Success promotes economic independence for disadvantaged women by providing them professional attire, and a network of support and career development tools to help them thrive in work and life. You can donate to the wonderful cause here.
