How cute are these kiddos? Daren’s sister and brother-in-law came to visit with this week, with their kids. It was chaos, but the good kind! As far as we are concerned family is everything!

Another thing that is everything in my book is Alice & Ames! My favorite dress shop for littles re-released their fall collection Thursday. I set an alarm and had all my selections in my cart 4 minutes after the release, and still didn’t get my favorite dress before it sold out! Don’t cry for me! I still managed to snag two rompers and two dresses! There are still lots of dresses available in size 6 – 8, and rompers in a range of sizes. Alice & Ames will be restocking once more before Christmas. Follow them on Instagram, for a heads up on the next release.

Personally, I think we all should laugh more. This Minted art print is a good reminder not to take life or your decor too seriously.

I also discovered an amazing abstract artist via the One Room Challenge. Her name is Kelli Kroneberger and she’s the talent behind the piece below. Check out her prints and original pieces on her site here.

Speaking of the One Room Challenge, it’s reveal week! Biannually, 20 professional bloggers completely transform a room in their home over 6 weeks!

My favorite reveals were Chris Loves Julia’s shared girl’s room, Burlap & Lace’s glam living room, and Suburban Bee’s transitional family room.

I have a very important question for readers… When is it appropriate to start decorating for Christmas? I usually wait until after Thanksgiving, but Target’s holiday line is really tempting me to flip my house to a winter wonderland today. Should I hold off or give in? I mean, look at this cute truck!

In other Christmas related news, mark your calendars! I’ll be giving a presentation on holiday decorating, as part of the West Fargo Public Library’s Holiday Open House, on Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.  It’s free and open to the public.

Keep an eye on our Instagram Stories this weekend. We plan to get some DIY projects done in the basement and I’ll be sharing peaks of our progress.

I want to thank all those who reached out to me after reading my recent piece for Scary Mommy. Your stories and empathy touched my heart. Thank you.

Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to all who have served!
